Description
Digital Strategist: 
As a digital strategist you will work closely with the Managing Director of Digital Experiences in defining campaign goals, creating execution plans with creative and tech teams, identifying KPIs, and frequently providing reports. This is a client-facing position that will require a highly responsive person that is able to take input and direction from many stakeholders. Expect to be very hands-on.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Establish digital strategy and ensure integration across digital channels and touchpoints, including websites (UxD), social media, search engine marketing, mobile, content marketing, eCRM, and digital advertising
  • Collaboration with content strategy, UxD, visual design, technology, and social media teams throughout project planning.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary research to gain clear, polished insight, using tools such as web and social analytics, online brand studies, social listening, digital ethnography, web intercept studies, syndicated research (e.g., comScore, Simmons)
  • Development of strategic briefs, insights presentations, and occasional technology trend analyses.
  • Oversee strategic processes including customer journey mapping, persona development, individual touchpoint strategies, content, advocacy, and influencer strategies
  • Development of digital strategy briefs
  • Consulting on creative work from initial idea through to execution.
  • Collaborate with Managing Director in identifying new digital innovation opportunities (technologies, partners, trends).
  • Advise clients and account services teams on strategic digital approach, key tactics, best practices, measurement requirements for ROI and evolving trends that will affect the results for each client.
  • Develop enterprise digital roadmaps for clients
  • Manage multiple complex digital marketing development projects at once, serving both in an oversight and hands-on role as needed.
  • Serve as digital marketing SME internally and externally
  • Keep up with the latest digital industry and digital customer trends, and share knowledge within the agency and with our clients
  • Generate enthusiasm among the agency and our clients for the production of exceptional digital work
  • Demonstrate the ability to process and understand our client's category, competitive set and their brand and business goals/objectives
  • Support day-to-day requests from client stakeholders.
 
Desired Experience:
  • 4+ years of digital strategy experience at an agency, working directly with top-brand clients.
  • Exceptional persuasive communication and presentation skills (written/verbal).
  • Ability to clearly articulate desired outcomes, ensure project objectives are met, and provide recap reports.
  • Proven success managing client requests and flawlessly implementing feedback with the creative and technology groups as part of the working-level team.
  • A specialization in either user experience, digital publishing, mobile, social, gaming, or digital advertising is a plus.
  • Track record of developing sophisticated online campaigns that extend across social, web, mobile, online advertising, search, apps
  • Must not only be passionate about emerging trends and technology, but must be an early adopter who is digitally involved
  • Superior analytical and research skills including experience conducting and analyzing primary and secondary qualitative and quantitative research
