Project Manager

Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for delivering completed interactive projects on time and within budget, and managing those projects from initiation through post-launch project review. The Project Manager is responsible for developing budgets and schedules, monitoring those budgets and schedules during the project lifecycle, managing resource allocation to ensure accurate project delivery, and ensuring the final deliverable meets the quality expectations of the stakeholders.

2. Lead teams in the task of developing and implementing project strategy and architecture
3. Prepare agendas and lead project meetings; take contact notes and ensure follow-through for all meetings lead by Project Manager
4. Manage stakeholder expectations and communication flow as relates to production and the internal project team

1. Accurately identify and assess scope changes and their impact to the schedule and budget
2. Work with team leads to define the overall scope of project
3. Define and manage team expectations regarding scope of work and responsibilities
4. Early identification of any issues that could impede successful delivery

1. Coordinate across departments to manage day-to-day workflow to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget
2. Develop and manage all production schedules, projections, specifications, and budgets for assigned jobs
3. Reconciliation and analysis of projected vs. actual time/budgets and control of any variances
4. Input of schedule, budget, assumptions, and scope considerations for all Statements of Work (SOW) and Change Orders
5. Participate in the QA process to ensure projects are delivered to agreed upon specifications
6. Work in tandem with Client Management to help identify new opportunities with clients

1. Accurately identify, obtain, and manage all necessary assets in a timely manner for projects
2. Coordinate appropriate legal releases for appropriate assets

1. Familiarity with existing and emerging web and mobile technologies including iOS, Android, LAMP Stack, Google Analytics, and SEO
2. Working understanding of all facets of digital development including strategies, design, planning, implementation, and launch.
3. Must be able to meet real-time deadlines, set project budgets, and control project quality
4. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure
6. Ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams with experience managing people in complex integrative environments
7. Understanding of time management and work breakdown procedures to accurately balance skill set and workload of team members

1. 2-5 years project management experience in an interactive agency, e-commerce business, or IT consulting firm
2. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
3. PMP or CSM certification a plus
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

1. BA/BS: major in Computer Science, Organizational Design, or Business Administration a plus
