CREATIVE DIRECTOR

We are experiencing rapid growth and looking to hire an experienced Creative Director to lead our Creative team.  Our ideal candidate will have 10 years of advertising agency experience with at least six years in a leadership role.
 
You are aggressive with your work, not afraid to push boundaries and require the client to reel you back in.  You are at home creating in a digital environment, understanding both the tools of the trade and the technical environment in which you have to work. We prefer candidates with strong digital experience but with full-service marketing and advertising production in your background along with an understanding of cross-cultural/multicultural marketing. 
  
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the overall creative direction and execution of client marketing campaigns, the creative quality of client projects, and the operational readiness of the creative team, all in fulfillment of our brand promise to our clients.
 
• Ensure that our creative remains at the industry's leading edge
• Maintain consistently high standards for yourself and the creative team
• Guide the professional development of each member of the creative team
• Deliver strategic communication solutions that help our clients attain their marketing and communications objectives
• Collaborate in and contribute to the creative process as a leader of a creative team
• Present creative concepts with a strong understanding of the strategy and vision
• Lead the process of concept/design and post-production execution
 
Primary Duties:
• Be the leader of the creative team and build a culture of teamwork and professional development.
• Direct the activities and professional development of creative team members
• Study the creative marketplace and assess our work as compared to the very best in the market.
• Work collaboratively with the account team to assure that internal and client deliverables are professionally executed on time
• Assure timely communication among the creative team and other internal and external project team members
• Contribute to the strategic and creative development of the agency’s new business development efforts
 
Secondary Duties:
• Manage outside resources, including vendors, photographers, printers, and freelancers
• Prepare job estimates
• Quality control, including proofing, reviewing, measuring and evaluating staff creative output and project processes.
• Continually evaluate, learn, and implement new technologies within the agency and for client campaigns.

• Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction to others
