Sensis is seeking a qualified individual to serve as an on-site Graphic Designer in support of a contract for
the recruiting and retention mission for the Army National Guard (ARNG).

Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive) –
The Graphic Artist develops nationally distributed creative (print and digital) for the Army National Guard
(Advertising Branch), with experience in creative design in Photoshop, experience in production graphics,
drawing skills in Adobe Illustrator and production skills in Adobe InDesign. Copywriting / editing /
proofreading may be required on occasion; may be asked to assist in typing up copy and proofing copy on
graphic projects.

This position utilizes expert drawing skills in Adobe Illustrator software, for the creation of vector graphic files
from low-resolution resource material (icons, logos, patches, insignia, etc.). An example of a project request
would be to start with an insignia patch photo image. Utilizing Illustrator software, it would be required to
redraw the insignia from scratch – matching every detail, into a vector file that can be employed for signage,
stickers, graphic clings, banners, etc. without loss of detail quality. Final file may also need to be provided
back to client in various formats (to include vector-based) for their use.

Photoshop skills for creation of creative imagery: for product concept creation and photographic image
manipulation (ex: uniform patch alteration) for: posters, banners, retractables, brochures, bus wraps and
specialty products. Some projects utilizing this software may be for products that will need to be sent to
outside vendors for final production.

Ability to convert/process originally submitted files into various industry standard formats as needed, for use
in both printing and digital environments.

Qualifications – The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a graphics
for media related field (or equivalent experience) and have at least 5-8 years of Graphic Design related work
experience. The candidate must have a high working knowledge of the Adobe Suite. The candidate must
have the ability to work in a deadline driven environment. The candidate must have the ability to work
independently and in a team environment. The candidate must possess excellent written and oral
communication skills. Experience with the military is a plus.

• Be a U.S. Citizen
• Be able to pass any necessary background investigation.
• Possess a current and valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Be a self-starter and be able to execute responsibilities with minimum oversight.
• Have the ability to plan and organize work activities to achieve established program objectives
and goals.
• Have strong interpersonal and management skills.
• Be responsible for the securing and safeguarding of all Government property, including
documents and equipment.
• Responsibilities may require extended work hours. This position does not pay for overtime;
a flexible work week is afforded to manage the 40 hour work week, which is strictly enforced
