Account Management Intern

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist account leads in day-to-day coordination of assigned projects and tasks
  • Aid in the preparation of both internal and Client meetings such as meeting setup, coordinating printouts, projection needs, etc.
  • Open up necessary project codes for internal file sharing and timekeeping purposes, using established agency tools
  • Assist in spearheading client presentations, meetings and conference calls—drafts agendas, meeting materials, and conference reports
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with internal teams that may help inform agency recommendations
  • Assist with setup and execution of project work plans on a timely basis, ensuring that progressive steps are taking place and identify potential issues with account lead, as needed
  • Review agency work and begin determining if output meets agreed-upon strategies and objectives
  • Possess curiosity as it relates to understanding Clients’ business and competitive environments, and how they relate to agency output and recommendations
  • Assist in monitoring budget, research and similar items as assigned
  • Additional responsibilities, as assigned
Qualifications
  • 0-1 years of advertising agency experience required
  • Knowledge of and interest in Advertising/Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field
  • The ability to multitask, while prioritizing accordingly, in a deadline-driven environment
  • A sense of humor in a fast paced setting
  • A “solutions focused,” proactive team work style
  • Self-motivated; self-starter
  • Flexible, positive attitude
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Basecamp a plus!
