Description
The Content Strategist plays a key role in defining how, where, when and to whom content is delivered within our clients' digital presence. This includes analyzing, modeling, calendaring, governing and working with curators to source content while aligning to the digital strategy and overall user experience. Our ideal candidate in this role lives and breathes content, critically viewing existing experiences and devising ways to make them better. He/she also enjoys solving problems for clients and the user and is passionate to learn and share points of view and new developments in the field.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Act as a key member of the strategy team
• Establish and maintain thoughtful leadership with clients
• Develop Content Strategy POVs for clients/projects
• Assess, catalog and organize online content (content inventory)
• Cultivate insights through data/information analysis
• Perform competitive content analysis
• Make content recommendations to fill strategic gaps
• Plan for delivery of online content with real-time relevance
• Persuasively communicate content recommendations to internal teams and clients
• Create taxonomies
• Develop content style guides
• Provide input on content management system design and use
• Drive all digital aspects of the content calendar for a given product or strategic focus
• Work collaboratively with Account, Creative, User Experience Architecture, SEO, Analytics and Technology to propel the business as a leader in the online channel
• Perform other duties as assigned

Accountable for the following deliverables: competitive evaluation, POVs, whitepapers, content inventory, gap analysis, content plan, content style guide, taxonomy, content flow diagram, content calendar, and content governance plan.

Desired Skills and Experience
Job Requirements and Qualifications: 
To be successful in this role, a candidate should have:
• Prior experience as a digital Content Strategist or Editorial Planner
• Online publishing knowledge
• Attention to detail, a wide degree of creativity and flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
• Expertise with content management systems 
• Familiarity with requirements of content as it relates to site, social and mobile on desktop, tablet, phone and emerging devices
• Bachelor or Master degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors Psychology, Journalism, English, or related/relevant work-related experience 
• 3+ years working in digital advertising, marketing or PR
